The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association is the professional organisation representing the majority of banks and other financial intermediaries established in Luxembourg. Its purpose lies in defending and fostering the professional interests of its members. As such, it acts as the voice of the whole sector on various matters in both national and international organisations.

The ABBL counts amongst its members universal banks, covered bonds issuing banks, public banks, other professionals of the financial sector (PSF), financial service providers and ancillary service providers to the financial industry.

Your missions:

  • Elaboration of legal notices and technical and strategic positions
  • Information, assistance and practical advice to our members
  • Analysis of national and European legislative and regulatory texts which can have an impact on the Luxembourg Financial center
  • Regulatory monitoring
  • Animation, coordination and follow-up of the working groups of the ABBL
  • Participation in working groups at the national and European level
  • Assistance to a Member of the Management Board

Your profile:

  • A master degree in law, specialisation in Banking and Finance
  • Enthusiasm, ease of communication
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate, both written and orally
  • Skilled to work autonomously and as part of a team 
  • Well-organised and skilled in using standard software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Banking experience appreciated
