Objectives

Do you want to know more about the interest rates governing the money and capital markets?
Do you want to understand the various types of rates encountered?
This one day module will give you an overview of the principle and application of simple rates, compound rates, proportional rates and the associated financial mathematics.

You will familiarise yourself with the origins of the money and capital markets, learn about their operating principles, rules and usances.
After discussing securitisation (CD, Euro-CD, Euro Commercial Paper …), you will acquaint yourself with the basic principles of
repo transactions.
