The Revolution in Business and Work Methods

This training is part of the AI Generative Toolbox - ChatGPT & Co. programme. This hands-on programme aims to increase the productivity of key business services (administrative support, legal, IT, marketing, finance, HR, project management, and customer support). It has been designed by passionate experts specialising in various fields, united by their expertise in Generative AI. The pool of trainers encompasses a wide range of skills, each bringing a unique perspective to maximise the impact of AI in your business.

The pedagogical scheme has been designed to provide participatory training during which participants practice and apply to their business cases.

Objectives

At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand the Role of Legal in the Business Model: Identify the place and importance of legal in the company's business model and balance legal priorities with business priorities

  • Grasp the Impact of AI on Legal

  • Use AI in Legal Practice

  • Apply AI to Practical Legal Cases

  • Integrate AI into Internal Procedures

  • Analyse the Use of AI in the Company

  • Consolidate and Evaluate Acquired Knowledge: Present completed tasks, participate in a debriefing, and engage in a question-and-answer session to reinforce and assess learning

PART 1 – Review and Theory
  • Review: The company's scope - Business Model Canvas (Review)

  • Understanding the placement of legal in this business model (Review)

  • Company priorities vs. legal priorities (Review)

  • Introduction to AI: Understanding origins, opportunities, and risks

  • How can AI revolutionise legal functions?

  • Uses of AI: Optimising tasks, automating processes, having a personal assistant, searching for solutions, assisting communication, becoming an augmented lawyer

  • Tools of generative artificial intelligence and how to use them in legal practice

  • Legal considerations: AI vs. human management, GDPR, and Intellectual Property

PART 2 - Application of AI in Work and Case Studies
  • Discovery of tools, the art of prompts, and revolutionary case studies

    • Tool setup and context definition

    • Analysis and identification of legal impacts

    • Contract drafting

    • Analysis and harmonisation of internal legal documentation

    • Legal research

    • Going further: Proposing an internal/external legal tool for level 1 questions

  • Interactive discussions and briefing on solo exercises (in compliance with GDPR).

    • Exercise 1: AI in your role -

      • Implementation of internal AML/KYC and GDPR procedures. If existing, review them.

      • Verification of impacts on the terms and conditions of your company's website and data privacy policy

    • Exercise 2: AI in your company

      • Legal analysis of the use of AI in your company: description of the envisaged process and the result suggested by AI

PART 3 – Reinforcement and Deepening of Knowledge
  • Presentation of work done

  • Exercise debrief

  • Q&A session

  • 3 hours in person

  • Individual work

  • 2-hour virtual class

Prerequisites

Participants must bring their laptop.

Participants must have a ChatGPT Plus, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot (Android or iOS), Google Gemini, or open-source model account. The use of the free version could be limiting for some practical exercises.

Note

Please be aware that the versions of the AI tools used may not always be operational or accessible during training sessions. The facilitators will adapt accordingly.

The training material will be handed out at the beginning of the course.

Certificate

At the end of the training, participants will receive a certificate of participation issued by the House of Training.
