In this respect, transportation involves the movement of passengers and the transport, storage and sometimes also the delivery of goods.

The logistics and transportation sector is regulated, and there are conditions for accessing the profession of transport of passengers and goods. The same applies to any driver transporting dangerous goods, as laid down in the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).
