Change Management APMG - Foundation

Description

Introduction

A 3-day certification course based on the APMG Change Management (v3) body of knowledge. It prepares participants for the Foundation exam and gives them tools they can apply straight away, worked through a running case study.

Objectives

By the end of this training course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the current context of change and how it has evolved

  • Understand the drivers and organisational context of change, including culture

  • Describe approaches to planning and implementing change, including co-design

  • Assess the impact of change, support people through it and address resistance

  • Support key change roles and build an effective change team

  • Analyse stakeholders and power, and build engagement and communication plans

  • Measure the effectiveness of change management activities

Target audience

Change managers and change leads, project and programme managers, line managers, HR, consultants.

Course materials

Each participant will receive :

  • a copy of the presentation and exercises

  • mock exams

  • a copy of The Effective Change Manager's Handbook

Certificate

This course prepares you for the APMG Change Management Foundation exam. As this is the foundation level, the emphasis is on theory, supported by some exercises.

The Change Management™ certification exam takes place at the end of the third day of training. For those who wish, it is always possible to take the exam at a later date with an exam voucher.
