Objectives

At the end of this training, the participant should be able to:

  • understand and integrate the role and responsibilities of the manager

  • identify their management and leadership style

  • acquire methods and tools to lead their team on a daily basis

  • gain legitimacy

  • impose respect, assert themselves, know how to say things and be heard

  • know how to transmit the company's values and culture, and good practices

  • gain in relational ease and generate constructive relationships

  • manage behavior and emotions linked to tense and conflictual situations

Module 1: Taking on the role of manager

  • The concepts of leadership and management

  • Human interaction at the heart of management

  • The manager's missions and the evaluation of his or her own skills

  • The multiplicity of the manager's roles and their specificities

Module 2: Knowing your team and practicing appropriate management

  • Analysis of your own management style

  • Knowing and knowing how to use other

  • Knowing how to recognize and use the style adapted to each employee

  • Recognition of the power zones and identification of strengths and weaknesses in each zone

  • Evaluation of the relationship with employees

  • Identification of your position in relation to your team, your hierarchy and your colleagues

Module 3: Empowering and delegating

  • Delegating and empowering your team

  • Understanding the keys to motivation

  • Developing the autonomy and initiative of your employees

  • Knowing how to set objectives

Module 4: Mobilizing through positive communication

  • Basic rules of communication

  • The pitfalls of communication

  • Better communication with the DISC method

  • Individual interviews and their preparation


Methodology

An alternation of theoretical presentations, practical advice, application exercises, tests, role plays and experience sharing.

Target Audience

Anyone starting out in a team management role, or in the process of moving towards a managerial role.
