Private Markets

Private Markets is part of our Private Equity and Other Alternative Assets Certificate and can be taken independently.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of different alternative asset classes, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Debt.

Participants will explore the strategies, actors, and structures of these asset classes, along with key processes such as fundraising, transaction valuation, value creation, exit strategies, and tax structuring. The course combines theoretical foundations with practical insights, featuring guest lectures from practitioners such as fund managers, lawyers, and auditors. 

  By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Develop a broad understanding of the alternative asset universe, including its main classes and strategies,

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Debt,

• Understand the processes of fundraising, transaction valuation, value creation, exit strategies, and tax structuring,

• Apply practical insights from industry practitioners to real-world scenarios,

• Prepare for building or advancing a career in private equity and other alternative investment sectors.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion co-signed by the House of Training and HEC Liège.
