About the "Data Science for Business Performance" Programme

This four-day programme is delivered twice a week over a two-month period. With the number of participants limited to 20, this ensures a highly interactive and intensive experience with executive exchange and knowledge transfer. In such economically turbulent times, it’s important to focus on growth, invest in management and harness change, creating strong leaders equipped to steer through such future uncertainty and taking advantage of the data management and analytics. Together with the solid international reputation and established faculty of Solvay Brussels School, we present a Data Science for Business Performance executive programme that offers training excellence in Luxembourg.

Objectives

Our faculty has designed this programme to nurture functional cross-fertilisation between the members of your business and business-reporting-IT teams, as well as sectorial cross-fertilisation by collaborating with participants working in different industries from your own. Target audience

Managers with at least 3 years of managerial experience, willingness to implement data management solutions in their department or business.

Prerequisites

Degree in management or equivalent is not required. 

Basic understanding of statistics.

MARTINE GEORGE
Professor of Management Practice
Solvay Brussels School

Martine George is Professor of Management Practice at Solvay Brussels School where she teaches Data Science in Master and Advanced Master programmes. In addition, she is also the Academic Director of the Executive Programme in Business Analytics at Solvay Brussels School.
She has over 25 years of professional experience, including 15 spent creating and developing business analytics and customer intelligence teams within large organizations (Tractebel, Proximus, Bpost, ING, BNP Paribas Fortis) from different industries (energy, telco’s, logistics, financial services).
She is regularly invited as a speaker and expert in events related to business analytics abroad.
She holds a PhD in Physics from Université Libre de Bruxelles, a MBA from Edinburgh Business School and Executive Education credentials from IMD, Lausanne, and The Wharton School, Philadelphia, PA, US.
Passionate about developing talent and organizations in business analytics, she is also ICF professional certified coach, facilitator and consultant.
